How to get there!

Flying to Kilifi:

  • Fly to Vipingo airstrip which is a 20 minutes’ drive from Kilifi Maghreb. Affordable flights are available from FLY540 and SAFARILINK
  • Fly to either Mombasa or Malindi, then drive to Kilifi town which is a mere 45 minutes’ drive from either town. Flights are also available from KENYA AIRWAYS, FLY540 and JAMBOJET.

Driving to Kilifi:

  • Kilifi is an 8 hour drive from the city in the sun (Nairobi) and you pass through Kenya's vast landscapes and breathtaking sceneries. With the new Kaloleni road bypass, Kilifi is now about 6 hours from Nairobi. One does not have to pass through Mombasa town and can go directly from the Mariakani weighbridge to Kilifi.
  • From Mombasa, the road passes through the entrance to Haller Park at Bamburi, and Jimba ruins in Mtwapa.
  • From Malindi, one drives past the  Arabuko Sokoke forest entrance, Gede ruins and Mida Creek.
  • Local buses from either Mombasa and Malindi  run daily and fares in local currency do not exceed Kes: 300
